What do you think of this? Why not try it and post your marvellous creations…
Month: May 2017
Here is Sara’s design printed off. She’s going to paint it to ensure it looks even better! Well done. There will be more printed out soon from lots of other children.
Here’s Nuria in 5A with her medal from the finals of the Guadalaviar maths competition. That’s fantastic Nuria – well done. I’m sure she showed lots of perseverance to achieve this. However, I’m not so sure about the maths skills of the character stood next to her though… What do you think? Can giraffes even count?
Looks like horses can… Do you know any good animal jokes?
Extra Challenge – Creating a Score
Click on the link below to see a great PowerPoint from Paula in Y4. It’s wonderful to see Y4s creating presentations, with technology, before they have an iPad in class. I think Paula is going to produce fantastic work next year in Y5. What do you think?
Here are a few examples of some fabulous writing from Y6. They have been entered into the Young Writers’ Awards. The challenge was to write the best story, in 500 words or less, about being transported to the year 3017 (see details below). It is probably too late to enter – the closing date is Friday the 5th of May – but we can have a competition in school. Please send me your stories and the best will get a purple form and an extra prize for the very best…
Here is Ethan’s story, he is in Ms Kildea’s class and has posted lots of very imaginative and descriptive writing pieces this year.
Here are Carlos and Nuria from Y5 with the trophies they won last weekend in a golf competition. Apparently, they love playing golf and Carlos says he always puts 100% into his hobby. They both show lots of perseverance and determination to succeed. Well done. Do you have a hobby you’re proud of and would like to share with everyone? If so, then let me know.
Here is another video for this weeks coding. There was a longer version of this that I made, but I think this review will be more useful.
