Today is the final of the 5th CGT competition. We wish all the competitors the best of luck. They were all absolutely amazing when practising yesterday!
Hi everyone,
World Book Day was actually on the 23rd of April – however we were on holiday. So, here are a few photos from today. The D.E.A.R (Drop Everything And Read) time was wonderful – it was fabulous to see the whole of primary quietly reading.
Also, your costumes were outstanding!!! Well done everyone.
Here is a video we made a few years ago when we started this project. It is practically the same as we will be doing this year. Can you make a game that a Y2 child can play?
Below is how to add the image, that the Y2s have created, into Scratch. We did this later in the project last year, but I think it will be better to start with this.
Hi all,
Well, wasn’t the ceremony amazing! All the girls looked incredibly elegant and the boys looked very smart in their top hats. The acceptance speeches were amazing and I feel that this year the quality of the movies has been better than ever. Well done to everyone who took part.
I’m sure you will agree that the most important aspect of this project was leaning new skills on your iPad and gaining lots of experience with project based learning. Team work was essential to be successful and all groups did succeed. These are skills you will find extremely useful in Secondary and indeed in life in general. Getting a nomination, runner up certificate or Oscar was just a (very pleasant) bonus.
As soon as I get the photos back from the photographer I will post them, along with all the nominees and winners, however here are the trailers for the best movie nominations for now.
