Cracking Christmas Reads!

Why not curl up with a lovely book over the long Christmas holidays? In my opinion, it’s the best way to improve your English and have fun at the same time!

Ms Sayce is going to read The Night Before the Night Before Christmas (by Kes Grey) with her young son and  Ms Stenhouse is going to read The Constant Princess by Philippa Gregory (however this isn’t a children’s book). I’m not sure what to read, so please give me some suggestions.

Here is a list of recommended festive books.

Please tell us about what you read and why you liked it!

Christmas is Coming!!!

Ho, ho, ho!!! Here are our wonderful Y6 Reps, who helped us decorate the tree. Some of them have made decorations for the top (an angel, Santa, star… anything Christmassy), so why don’t you? We are trying to re-use materials to be eco-friendly, so get your thinking caps on and make a decoration.

Bring it to us in our office and the best ones will be put onto the tree (and get a purple form!)

Also, please tell us about what you are looking forward to most around Christmas time. And remember, it’s not just about receiving presents…  For example, I’m really looking forward to spending lots of time with my family and friends in England, as I don’t get to see them as often as I would like.

Fantastic Recorder Playing!!!

What do you think of Y6As recorder playing? I think they must have practised a lot!
