So, really every day should be Safer Internet Day, as although it is an amazing resource for us all to use, it does have its dangers and drawbacks. The theme yet again is ‘Together for a Better Internet, but we are looking in particular at being respectful online. The question we ask is, is it always fun and games? If we people are unkind and hurtful, it definitely isn’t fun. In class, we will be looking at how best to behave when online, so that you and the children you are interacting with can be as safe and as happy as you can be.

We would like to get some new posters for the Techno Zone, so how about a little competition. Can you create a poster (either on A4 paper with your lovely artwork or digitally if you prefer)? More details to follow on the next post.

Tomorrow is Internet Safety Day (check out later posts for more information), but do you actually know what the internet is? This might explain things a little.
