What is Mer-May?

Mer-May is the month that is dedicated to mermaids! Many illustrators,
crafters and artists from all over the world participate in this mer-mazing
event.

What can I do to participate in this event?

For the first time ever, Caxton is taking part in this mer- mazing event. To
take part, you can draw or make a mermaid/man . Once you finish it, post into the box outside the primary office. Closing date for entries is the 15th June.

Winners will be announced at the end of the summer term.

After writing all this, something has got me thinking… I thought I saw a fishtail splash in the ocean at the weekend, but was it a fish or was it something different..?
